Vauxhall Mokka central locking failure

Hi, I have a 2016 Vauxhall Mokka diesel and the central locking has stopped working. None of the doors will lock or unlock, and I've got an error showing up. Anyone else had this problem? I've checked the fuses but they seem ok.

Interesting issue you're encountering! I had a similar experience with my Mokka. Before jumping to conclusions, have you scanned the car's computer for any stored diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) related to the central locking system or any other modules? If so, can you share the specific codes with me, as this could provide some valuable insight into the root cause of your problem. Also, could you check the wiring harness and connectors associated with the central locking control module and door lock actuators? Inspecting these components for any signs of corrosion, damage, or loose connections could help identify a potential issue.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, there's an error stored. It doesn't say exactly what it is, only that there's a fault with the central locking system. Where exactly would I find the central locking control module and door lock actuators to check the wiring?

Ah, I see. Given the error message and your symptoms, it seems probable that you have a defective cable or plug connection of the component, as this seems to be a reoccuring issue with this model. Locating those modules can be tricky, and fiddling with the electrics without proper knowledge is usually not the best decision. I would suggest you take your car to a qualified mechanic who can accurately diagnose the problem and perform the necessary repairs. It should be a relatively inexpensive fix.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I took it to the garage, and you were right, it was a faulty connection. Cost me 95€ to fix. Cheers!
