Vauxhall Mokka Radar Sensor Failure

I've got a 2019 Vauxhall Mokka with a gasoline engine. The radar sensor seems to have given up the ghost. Getting an error message in the speedometer, and it's also stored an error in the memory. This seems to cause failures of various systems in the vehicle and a warning light appears in the speedometer. Could a dirty sensor really cause all this?

Interesting, I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane. Was collision avoidance affected? Did you try cleaning the sensor?

Collision avoidance is affected, yes. Where exactly is the radar sensor located and is it easy to get to?

For my Megane, the sensor was behind the front bumper. Given the cascade of errors you're seeing, especially if the sensor is difficult to access, I'd suggest visiting a workshop. Radar calibration might be needed afterwards.

Thanks, I appreciate the tip. Indeed the problem was the sensor. I got the collision avoidance radar sensor cleaned for 45€ at the workshop and now it works again. I will consider to do it myself next time. It was much easier than I thought.
