Vectra Climate Control Failure

Fuses I can handle. A multimeter though? That's where I get lost. Where is the control panel connector? What voltage should I be looking for? Can I find it with a test light?

Start with the fuses. If those are fine, locating and testing the connector can be tricky without a wiring diagram. The correct voltage depends on the specific circuit. Given your limited experience, and that there is a stored fault, I recommend taking it to a workshop for diagnosis. Defective cable or plug connection of the component is the most likely cause.

I checked the fuses, and they seemed okay. Bit beyond my skills I reckon. Took it to a local garage, and they found a corroded connector, just like you said! 95€ later, and it's sorted. Appreciate the help!

Sounds like a potential electrical fault. Error code, low heat, and non-functional AC all point to a problem with the climate control system's power or communication. Have you checked the fuses? Are you comfortable using a multimeter to test for voltage at the control panel connector?
