Vectra Reduced Engine Power

My 2008 Vauxhall Vectra with a gasoline engine is showing some concerning symptoms. At around 80767 km, the engine power is noticeably reduced, and the check engine light is constantly illuminated. Could this be a defective throttle valve? Is it possibly the accelerator pedal module or the electronics inside that are defective?

Sounds like limp mode. Does it struggle to get up to speed?

Yes, exactly! It's struggling to get up to speed. Air flow is definitely impacted! What fuel efficiency should I expect?

Yep, sounds like that throttle sensor is goosed then. Can't say exactly what to expect fuel-wise, but it won't be good. Replacement is the only real option, I think.

Thank you for the valuable insight! It was indeed a defective throttle valve. The replacement cost me 265€. Now it works as expected!
