Thanks for the quick reply! When you say 'sensor wiring,' are you referring to the wiring inside the tailgate itself, or somewhere else in the car's electrical system? Was the error stored in the error memory too? I want to make sure I'm looking in the right place before I start poking around.

Yep, error was stored in error memory. In my case, it was easier to just go to the workshop. They sorted it out quickly. Don't waste time trying to fix it yourself. It's like trying to defuse a bomb if you don't know what you're doing.
