VelSatis air suspension fault

I'm having a nightmare with my 2009 Renault VelSatis (gasoline engine). The air suspension seems totally shot. The car won't lift anymore, it's leaning to one side, and I'm getting an error message on the dashboard. The ride is incredibly bumpy now. Could this be the suspension air bag valve?

Summary of the thread

A 2009 Renault VelSatis is experiencing air suspension issues, including failure to lift, leaning to one side, and a bumpy ride, accompanied by an error message. The problem is likely due to a faulty valve in the air suspension bellows. It is recommended to have the vehicle checked by a professional workshop to address the issue effectively.

Sounds familiar! I had almost the same thing happen with my old Citroen C5. It turned out to be a faulty valve in the air suspension system. Does the error memory mention anything specific?

Yes, the error memory mentions something about a faulty valve in the air suspension bellows. Is that what you mean? Did you try to fix it yourself?

That confirms it then! I didn't attempt a DIY fix. Air suspension can be tricky, and I didn't want to mess anything up further. I'd strongly advise getting it checked by a workshop. It will cost you around 590€ to repair.

Thanks a lot for your help! I suspected it was something like that. I'll book it in at the workshop.
