VelSatis Power Window Failure
Summary of the thread
The power windows on a 2004 Renault VelSatis stopped working, despite the fuses being intact and an error being stored in the memory. The issue was suspected to be related to the power window switch. However, it was suggested to check the regulator motor, which turned out to be the faulty component. The problem was resolved by replacing the regulator motor assembly at a local mechanic.

Thanks for the tip! When you say regulator motor, do you mean the motor itself or the whole window mechanism including the window track? Was yours making any noises before it failed completely?

For me, it was the whole regulator motor assembly. No noises beforehand, just sudden death. Honestly, it's probably best to take it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed. It could be a number of things, but that was my experience.

Appreciate the advice! I took it to a local mechanic, and you were spot on - faulty regulator! Cost me about 200€ to get it sorted. Thanks again!

I had something similar happen on my VelSatis. Windows just stopped responding. Have you checked the regulator motor? That's where I'd start looking.
