Venue transmission oil pressure sensor fault
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Hyundai Venue with a gasoline engine is experiencing a transmission oil pressure sensor fault, resulting in the MIL light, error codes, limp mode, unclean shifts, and grinding noises. The suspected cause is a low gearbox oil level. It is recommended to have the vehicle inspected by a professional mechanic to accurately assess the oil level and address any underlying issues to restore proper transmission function.

Yeah, exactly as you describe. Slipping and grinding. Did you confirm low oil was the culprit?

Indeed, it was remarkably similar to my own experience. Considering the complexity of modern transmissions and the potential for further damage, I would recommend taking your vehicle to a qualified workshop for a thorough diagnosis and repair. A professional mechanic can accurately assess the oil level, identify any underlying issues, and perform the necessary repairs to restore your transmission to proper working order.

Thanks for the confirmation. Turns out the oil level was indeed low. Cost me 365€ to get it sorted.

I also own a Venue, and I experienced similar symptoms. Illumination of the engine warning light, slipping gears, and unusual noises were all present. Have you observed any difficulties with gear changes or unusual sounds while shifting?
