Veracruz auxiliary heater error
Summary of the thread
The auxiliary heater in a 2007 Hyundai Veracruz was not activating, displaying an error message. Initial checks of fuses and temperature sensors did not resolve the issue. A suggestion to inspect the glow plugs led to the discovery that a defective glow plug was the cause. After replacing the glow plug, the problem was resolved.

Interesting! You think it's the glow plugs? Was yours throwing the same error? How difficult was it to diagnose? I'm fairly handy, but I don't want to start ripping things apart if it's something complicated.

Yep, same error. Honestly, I just took it to a workshop. They ran a diagnostic and pinpointed the glow plug issue pretty quickly. Saved me a lot of hassle.

Okay, thanks for the tip! I appreciate knowing what to look for. I'll take it to my local shop and have them check the glow plugs first. Turns out you were spot on! Glow plug defective! Repair cost me 440€, but at least it's fixed now. Thanks again!

I had a similar problem with my Veracruz. Check the glow plugs. It might be that.
