Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, I don't have the exact error code at hand right now. Regarding the fuses, which ones specifically should I be checking related to the PTC heater? I'm not entirely familiar with the electrical layout of the heating system.

Given your description and lack of specific error code, it's highly probable that the electric auxiliary heater is indeed defective. While checking fuses is a good starting point, diagnosing this issue properly often requires specialized equipment. I would recommend visiting a qualified workshop to confirm the diagnosis and perform the necessary repairs. You are likely looking at a faulty PTC heater element.

Thank you for your detailed advice. I took your suggestion and brought the Verso to a workshop. They confirmed that the electric auxiliary heater was defective, and after replacement, the issues are now resolved. The repair cost me around 350€. Appreciate your help!

The symptoms you describe strongly suggest a problem within the HVAC system, more specifically with the electrical auxiliary heating. The error code coupled with poor cold start performance points towards a defective heating element. Could you please specify the exact error code registered? Also, have you checked the relevant fuses?
