Verso Radar Sensor Error
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Toyota Verso with a diesel engine experienced a radar sensor error, system failures, and a warning light at 118,123 km. The issue was likely caused by debris obstructing the radar sensor, which is typically located behind the front grill near the emblem. Cleaning the sensor resolved the problem, and no further repairs or radar calibration were necessary.

How do I check the radar sensor for obstructions? I don't know where it is or how to clean it. Will radar calibration be needed after cleaning?

The radar sensor is usually behind the front grill, near the Toyota emblem. Gently wipe the sensor. If problems persist, get professional diagnostics. Radar calibration is typically only required after sensor replacement.

The radar sensor was dirty. A quick cleaning at the workshop for 45€ resolved the issue, avoiding more costly repairs. The system is now working.

The symptoms suggest a radar sensor issue. The error message and system failures align with this. Have you checked if the sensor is clean? Debris can interfere with its operation.
