Verso Sun Blind Failure

My 2009 Toyota Verso diesel's sun blind is stuck. It's got 192180 km on the clock and won't retract or extend. There's an error code stored. Thinking it's the motor, anyone else seen this?

I had a similar issue with the sun blind on my old Mercedes C-Class. The symptoms sound identical, motor failure.

Was it definitely the motor in your case? And was it a massive job to sort?

Yep, definitely the motor. Not a DIY job unless you're really confident with interior trim and electrics. Best bet is probably a workshop – they'll have the right tools and experience to avoid damaging anything.

I've booked it in, they reckon around 330€ to sort it, motor is indeed defective. Appreciate the quick diagnosis!
