Vios handsfree microphone failure

I'm having trouble with the hands-free microphone in my 2021 Toyota Vios with a gasoline engine. Telephony is impossible, and there's an error stored. I've tried checking the Bluetooth connection, volume, and ambient noise, but nothing works. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have a Vios myself, and I think I had a similar issue some time ago. The Bluetooth connection kept dropping, and sometimes the microphone would just cut out during calls. Did you try unpairing and re-pairing your phone? Also, have you checked for any available software revisions for the infotainment system? Sometimes, these things can resolve weird glitches.

Yes, there was an error stored, something about a communication failure with the Bluetooth module. I didn't attempt any software revisions myself. After trying the basic troubleshooting, I ended up taking it to a workshop. They ran diagnostics and determined the infotainment system was faulty.
