Volt Headlight Washer Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Chevrolet Volt experienced a failure in both the headlight cleaning system and windshield washer, despite the fuse being intact. The issue was suspected to be a clog, leak, or faulty cable connection. After checking the fuse, it was suggested that a faulty cable connection to the pump or relay might be the cause. The problem was confirmed to be a faulty cable connection to the pump, which was resolved at a workshop.

Thanks! Where exactly are those located on the Volt? Is it easily accessible, or should I take it to a mechanic?

On my Volvo it was a pain to get to, tucked away near the wheel well. Given it's also affecting your windshield washer, and you've checked the fuse, a dodgy connection is pretty likely. Might be worth a quick look if you're comfortable, but honestly, for something like that, a workshop will sort it out quickly and without you getting frustrated.

Okay, thanks! I took it to the workshop and you were right, it was the cable connection to the pump. Repair cost was 165€. Appreciate the help!

Hey, that sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my old Volvo. Turned out to be a faulty cable connection to the pump or the relay. Have you checked those?
