Cheers for the reply. Battery seems okay, but I haven't load tested it. The charging system does seem to be the culprit. When your Vauxhall was doing that, did it completely die on you, or did it just run rough?

It never completely died, just ran rough and threw up a load of error codes related to the charging system. Eventually, the garage confirmed it was the regulator. If you're getting similar symptoms and codes, I'd get it checked by a pro.

Yeah, you're probably right. Booked it in with the garage. It was the generator pack, as suspected. Full replacement needed which stings at 960€, but at least it's sorted. Thanks for the nudge to get it looked at!

Sounds rough. I had similar gremlins with my old Vauxhall Astra, but it was the regulator pack. Is your battery holding charge okay? Worth checking the simple stuff first.
