Volvo V60 GPS Issue

I'm having GPS issues with my 2017 Volvo V60 (gasoline engine). The navigation system shows "no GPS reception", and there's a related error stored. I suspect the GPS antenna, but I'm open to other ideas. Has anyone else experienced this?

Interesting! I had a similar problem with my Opel Astra. The GPS would just cut out randomly. Could be signal interference, but probably the antenna itself is faulty. Have you checked the GPS module connections?

Thanks for the suggestion! I haven't checked the connections yet. Where is the GPS module usually located in a V60? Is it easy to access?

Honestly, I'm not sure where it is in the Volvo. In my Astra, it was a nightmare to get to! Given the error message and the "no reception" message, I'd say it's worth taking it to a workshop to get it checked out. It's likely the GPS antenna itself, and a replacement shouldn't be too expensive.

Thanks, that's really helpful. I'll book it in for a checkup. I read that a new GPS antenna plus labor is around 200€, so hopefully, that's all it is. I'll post when it's sorted.
