The total repair came to 780€, which included: New temperature sensor, Fresh transmission oil, Labor costs, Full diagnostic scan The automatic transmission is now shifting perfectly again, no more grinding or warning lights. The mechanic also checked the gearbox sensor and overall transmission condition while they had it apart, confirming everything else looks good. Bit less than the original quote of 850€, so I am relieved. The whole job took about 4 hours. Worth every cent to have the transmission working properly again and avoid more serious damage. Will definitely pay more attention to transmission warning signs in the future.
