Hey, thanks for your reply! It sounds like it could also be the alternator in my case. Do you remember how much it cost you to replace it? And did you have any side effects or problems afterwards? Thanks again, that really helps me.

Hey, you're welcome! I had a faulty alternator regulator, which always caused an overvoltage in the vehicle. After I had it done by a mechanic, it was no longer an issue. But it cost me a pretty penny, €960 to be precise. After that, everything was back to normal, no further problems or side effects. I hope this helps you and you get it sorted. Good luck with it!

Thank you very much for your helpful reply! The price is a bit higher than I expected, but the main thing is that the problem is solved afterwards. I will go to the mechanic tomorrow and have the alternator checked. Hopefully everything will run smoothly again after that. Thanks again, that really helped me a lot. I'll let you know again when I've found a solution. Have a nice evening!

Hello, I once had a similar problem with my Skoda Superb (2014, diesel). The lights were also always flickering and the starter motor only turned slowly. At first I thought it was the battery, but it was something else. It turned out that the problem was with the alternator. It was really a bit serious, as the alternator also supplies other important components. So I had to have it replaced. It's best to find a good mechanic. Hope this helps you.
