Wind Oxygen Sensor Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Renault Wind with a gasoline engine and high mileage has a check engine light indicating an oxygen sensor heater failure, leading to increased fuel consumption. The issue could be due to a defective cable or plug connection. However, a similar case revealed that the problem was with the heating element of the oxygen sensor itself, which was confirmed and repaired.

Really? Was the fault traced to the heating element of the oxygen sensor, or was it something else?

Yes, it was the heating element. I had it checked in the workshop.

Thanks for the information. Diagnosis confirmed a faulty oxygen sensor. Repair cost me 95€.

I also drive a Wind. Did you check the oxygen sensor itself? I had similar symptoms, and it turned out to be the sensor.
