Hi, thanks for the tip! It sounds like you had the exact same problem I'm having now. Can you happen to remember what you paid for the repair? And has anything else come up with your Alhambra since then? Thank you!

Hi, yes, I remember that very well! I had to fork out €265 to rectify the fault in the LIN-BUS cable. Pretty steep, but since then the spook with the crazy windshield wiper is a thing of the past and I'm pretty relieved. Fortunately, I haven't had any further problems with my Alhambra since then. Little things come up from time to time, but nothing that really worries me. Hope this helps you!

Hey, thanks for the quick reply and the helpful information! I'm relieved to hear that there was no further problem after the repair. Yes, €265 is a bit much, but if the problem is solved afterwards, it seems worth it. I will discuss this with my mechanic and hope everything goes smoothly. You've helped me a lot, thanks again!

Servus, Is it possible that the windshield has been replaced recently? Perhaps the sensor was not installed correctly or was not taught correctly, that would be my guess.

Hi mate, I had a similar problem with my 2013 Seat Alhambra diesel, my windshield wipers were acting up and it turned out that there was actually a malfunction with the rain/light sensor. The sensor is apparently quite susceptible, it can happen. In my case it had to be completely replaced. So, if you ask me, I'd suggest you get that checked out as well. It was a serious problem but now that it's fixed, everything is running smoothly.
