Wingroad water sensor issue

My 2008 Nissan Wingroad diesel's throwing a fit. Check engine light's on, error memory's full, and the engine's running rough. Suspect the water sensor. Any thoughts?

Sounds familiar. Had a similar issue with my old 2012 Peugeot 308. Turned out to be a dodgy sensor connection. Like a loose tooth, causing pain elsewhere. Did you check the cable and plug?

Right you are. Workshop diagnosed a faulty cable/plug to the water sensor. 95€ sorted it. Thanks for the nudge!
