WRV intake manifold flap issue

I'm having trouble with my 2021 diesel Honda WRV. At 229959 km, I've noticed less engine power, rough running, jerking when accelerating, a loud hissing sound when I accelerate, and worse fuel economy. I think it's the intake manifold flap control. Could a bad switch really cause all of this?

Okay, the engine light confirms it for me. I had all the same issues! Jerking, rough idle, the whole thing. I tried a few things, but I ended up taking it to a shop. It's best to let them handle it. Save yourself the trouble.
