WRV Overheating Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Honda WRV is experiencing overheating issues, suspected to be due to a non-functioning electric fan. The fuses have been checked and appear fine, but there may be defective plug and cable connections. A similar issue was resolved by addressing a faulty connection to the fan, and it is recommended to have a professional workshop handle the repair to avoid further damage.

Yeah, the temperature gauge is climbing pretty high. Did yours do the same, and what was the actual cause?

Yep, gauge was maxing out. Turned out it was a faulty connection to the fan. I wouldn't mess with it too much yourself, honestly. I just took it to a workshop; it's safer, and they know what they're doing. I nearly fried something trying to fix it myself.

Appreciate the insight. Will take it to a workshop then. Estimate is around 95€, so not too bad if that solves it.

Dude, overheating is scary! I have a WRV too. Is the temperature gauge going way up?
