X Klasse fresh air blower issues

My 2019 Mercedes X Klasse with a diesel engine has a completely dead fresh air blower. The heater fan isn't spinning. I have an error code that points to the blower motor. Fuses are fine. Could it be the fan speed controller or wiring? I'm expecting a 365€ bill at a workshop. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem with my X Klasse. Blower motor just quit. Did you check the air circulation flap? Sometimes they get stuck and can cause the motor to overload and fail. Is the error code specific to the blower motor?

Thanks for the quick reply! I had a quick look at the air circulation flap, but didn't really dig deep. Where is it located and is there an easy way to check if it's jammed? The error code specifically mentions the blower motor.

Okay, if the code is specific to the blower motor and the flap seems okay, then it probably is the blower motor. Honestly, after poking around a bit myself, I ended up just taking mine to a workshop. Saved me a lot of hassle.
