XC40 Climate Control Failure

Climate control on my 2019 Volvo XC40 hybrid isn't working. The panel is dead, there's an error code, weak heat, and no AC. I've checked fuses. Big problem or minor electrical fault?

Interesting. The XC40's climate control can be finicky. Any other electrical issues? A failing sensor or software glitch could cause this. Is it under warranty? If so, take it to Volvo. Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a while? It's a long shot, but a hard reset can clear up weird electrical issues.

Based on your description, especially the stored error code, it may well be a defective cable or plug connection. These things happen. Would disconnecting the battery erase stored settings or require recalibration? I'm hesitant without knowing the consequences.

Took it to a workshop as suggested. It was a defective electrical connector in the HVAC system. Repair was 95€.
