XC40 diesel drift compensation error

My 2019 Volvo XC40 diesel is throwing 'Reset quantity drift compensation' errors. Engine's running rough, check engine light's on, and the error memory confirms it. Mileage is at 62778 km. Suspecting a dodgy injector valve. Anyone seen this before?

I encountered a somewhat comparable predicament with my 2018 BMW 320d. The symptoms you delineate bear a striking resemblance to those I observed, albeit in a disparate automotive marque. Did you perform any onboard diagnostics, specifically examining the airflow sensors and any potential anomalies in the compensation adjustment parameters?

Compensation adjustment parameters, you say? Can you elaborate on which parameters precisely? I've glanced at the airflow readings, but maybe I missed something specific.

In my particular case, the drift compensation values were significantly skewed, indicating a malfunction within the injection system. Given the error code you presented and the associated symptoms, it would be prudent to seek a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation at a qualified automotive workshop. Attempting self-repairs without the requisite expertise could potentially exacerbate the issue and engender further complications.

Thanks for the insight! Took it to the shop as you suggested. Turns out it was indeed a defective injector. Repair cost me 515€. Appreciate the confirmation; saved me a lot of headache!
