XC60 Hybrid Gear Shift Failure

Sounds rough! I had something similar happen with my XC60 (although not the hybrid version). My gear selector went haywire, and the dash display was just showing random stuff. I could still drive, but it felt like the transmission was arguing with itself every time I shifted. Have you checked any of the fuses? It might be a long shot, but it's a cheap place to start.
