Thanks for the reply. Brake lights seem fine, but I'll double-check them. Clock spring... that sounds a bit more involved. Where exactly should I be looking for corrosion in the fuse box? Is there a particular area that's more prone to issues?

You are most welcome. Regarding the fuse box, focus your attention on the connectors and wiring associated with the cruise control system. Inspect for any evidence of corrosion, loose terminals, or damaged insulation. While I cannot pinpoint a specific location, areas exposed to moisture or vibration are generally more susceptible. Given the potential complexity of diagnosing electrical faults, it may be prudent to consult a qualified technician. My Citroen eventually needed professional attention, and the garage identified a short circuit.

Understood. Thanks for the advice. I'll check the fuse box more thoroughly, but it sounds like a trip to the workshop might be on the cards. Just had the error diagnosed - the mechanic confirmed it's a defective cable or plug connection. The repair cost will be around 95€.

Greetings. I experienced a similar issue with my 2012 Citroen C5 some time ago. The cruise control malfunctioned intermittently, and diagnostic scans revealed corresponding error codes. In my case, the root cause was traced to a faulty brake light switch. The cruise control system relies on signals from the brake light circuit, and a malfunctioning switch can disrupt its operation. Have you verified the functionality of your brake lights? Furthermore, I would suggest inspecting the clock spring within the steering wheel, as this component can also contribute to cruise control problems. Additionally, scrutinize the connections at the fuse box for any signs of corrosion or damage.
