XC70 Rain Light Sensor Fault

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane. Is it perhaps caused by bubbles forming under the gel pad of the windshield? It messed with the sensor on mine.

Bubbles under the gel pad, huh? Never heard of that. How did you figure that out? And how did you solve it?

A mechanic spotted it. Replacing the sensor including the gel pad fixed it. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to confirm, but that sounds like the culprit.
