XC70 Turn Signal Issue

Having a heck of a time with my 2007 Volvo XC70 (gasoline engine). The turn signal is acting up! I'm getting an error message on the speedometer, and it's definitely a lighting fault. The car says that there is an error stored in the error memory. I suspect the cable or plug connection is defective. Anyone else run into this? I am so frustrated! Is it just the bulb?

I had a similar issue with my XC70. Was it both the front and rear lights? Have you checked the bulb holder itself for corrosion? That can cause some weird electrical issues.

I checked, and there are no visible signs of corrosion. It's just the right-side indicator. I am not sure how to fix it. I am worried about the bill. Any other thoughts?

Yeah, mine was also just one side. Honestly, after checking the bulb and connections, I just gave up and took it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly, but it was still annoying.

I was hoping it would be a simple fix, but it sounds like it might be more involved. I am going to take it to a workshop tomorrow. It's only 95€, so it's not the end of the world.
