XC90 Airbag Warning Light

Hey, my 2018 Volvo XC90 with a gasoline engine is giving me fits. The airbag warning lamp has lit up in the speedometer. I'm thinking it might be a bad connection somewhere, maybe a loose plug. Anyone else seen this?

That's frustrating! I had a similar issue with my old Opel Astra. The SRS light kept coming on, and it turned out to be a faulty connection under the passenger seat. It's like a loose wire in a lamp, keeps flickering on and off. Did you check under the seats for any obvious loose wires?

Interesting! I haven't checked under the seats yet. Was it easy to spot the problem with your Astra, or did you need special tools? Do you think it's worth trying to fix myself, or should I just take it to a workshop?

It wasn't super easy to spot, but I jiggled some wires and the light went off for a while, confirming the issue. Honestly, with airbags, it's probably safer to let a professional handle it. Airbags are kind of like fireworks – fun when they work, but dangerous when they don't!

Good point, safety first! I'll book it in for a checkup. It was a defective cable or plug connection, and the repair was only 95€. Thanks for the advice!
