Interesting. No, I haven't observed any unusual electrical behavior specifically. What was the resolution for your BMW? Did it involve the high-voltage battery pack itself, or something else?

In my case, it was a faulty voltage sensor causing a false reading, which led to the system shutting down as a safety measure. The dealer replaced the sensor, and it solved the problem. Given your Volvo is showing similar signs, I'd suggest getting it checked out by a qualified technician. It could be a battery issue, an inverter problem, or even just a sensor malfunction. Better safe than sorry with high-voltage systems.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were right – the high-voltage battery was heavily discharged and defective. Replacing it and performing some associated work cost me 290€, but it fixed the issue. I appreciate the pointer!

That sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my 2019 BMW 530e. It turned out to be a battery drain issue that was triggering all sorts of weird errors. Did you notice any unusual electrical behavior before the errors started?
