Thanks for the quick reply! A system reset sounds easy enough, I will give it a try. Where is this relay located and do you know if it's easy to replace? Is there anything else I should check?

Well, the relay location can vary, but it's usually in the engine compartment's fuse box. Swapping it out isn't rocket science, but the fact that there's an error stored points more towards the ECU itself being the problem, like a short circuit in your home electrics. Honestly, at this point, I'd suggest getting a professional opinion. A faulty ECU can mess with engine performance, and it's better to be safe than sorry.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I did try the system reset but no luck. Took your advice and went to a workshop. It was indeed the main relay and they replaced it for 120€. Everything is back to normal now!

Hey there! I had something similar happen with my XC90. It sounds like it could be a defective main relay affecting your ECU. Have you tried a system reset, like disconnecting the battery for a while? It might be a simple fix, though the error code makes me think the ECU may have taken a hit.
