XRV Engine Stalls at Idle
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Honda XRV with a gasoline engine is experiencing stalling at idle and has a check engine light on, with an error indicating incorrect fuel composition. Possible causes include issues with the fuel system, such as a defective cable or plug connection, potentially due to fuel contamination. Fuel filter hasn't been checked yet. What exactly was the problem with your Astra?

Turned out to be a defective cable or plug connection on the component, caused by fuel contamination. Given your symptoms, it's worth checking the entire fuel system, including the combustion chamber. It may be best to get it diagnosed at a workshop.

Thanks. I took it to the workshop, and it was indeed a defective cable connection. Repair cost was 95€. Appreciate the help!

Sounds similar to an issue I had with my old Opel Astra. Same symptoms, but the error pointed to a faulty sensor in the fuel line. Have you checked the fuel filter or considered the fuel quality?
