Xsara brake light failure

Sounds familiar! I had something similar with my Xsara. Was it after you might have accidentally kicked the pedal upwards when getting out of the car?

Yeah, that's almost certainly it then. You might have dislodged the switch. If you aren't confident fiddling with it, I would advise taking it to a workshop to get it checked out.

I appreciate the advice. I followed it and went to the workshop. It turned out I dislodged the switch. They pushed it back, and now it works perfectly fine. The repair cost was 0€
