Xsara diesel glow plug issue

Hey, I had something similar happen on my Xsara, though it's a bit older. Check the glow plug relay – it could be stuck. If the relay is fine it might be worth double-checking each glow plug individually to pinpoint the faulty one.

Yeah, I just used a multimeter to check the resistance of each glow plug. A reading of infinity or very high resistance means it's toast. If it turns out that it's none of the glow plugs and not the relay, I suggest you consult with a workshop. This way you won't spend hours tinkering and end up at the workshop anyway.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the workshop in the end and they confirmed it was the glow plugs. Total repair cost was 440€ including labour and parts. Runs much better now!
