XTrail Hybrid battery alarm issue
Summary of the thread
The 2023 Nissan XTrail Hybrid is experiencing an issue with the additional battery alarm system, which has stored an error and is not functioning. With 215,906 km on the odometer, the problem may be due to the battery's age, leading to a possible discharge. It is suggested to have the vehicle inspected at a workshop to confirm the cause and address the issue, potentially involving battery replacement.

That's interesting. No, there weren't any prior warnings or strange battery indications before the alarm system failure. Did you replace the battery right away?

My car was in the shop for a few days. They found the battery was discharged, just too old. I'd recommend getting your XTrail checked at a workshop. The replacement cost me around 350€.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I'll get the Nissan inspected at a workshop. It seems like a discharged battery due to age is the most likely cause. The repair is estimated to cost me about 330€.

I had a similar issue with my 2018 BMW 530e. Sounds familiar. Did you get any warning before the alarm failed completely? Like a strange battery signal?
