Yaris Driver Side Seat Heater Failure

Hey, hoping someone can help! I've got a 2016 Toyota Yaris Hybrid, and the seat heater on the driver's side has completely stopped working. It doesn't get warm at all anymore. I even plugged in my OBD scanner and there was an error code related to the seat heating system. Any thoughts? Could it be a fuse or something simpler before I start tearing things apart?

Thanks for getting back to me! The passenger side seat heater still works perfectly, so it seems isolated to the driver's side. Any idea what it was in your case? Anything specific I should be looking for?

In my case, the workshop confirmed that the heating mat in the seat cushion was defective. Since the passenger side still works I would recommend checking the driver side in a workshop.

Okay, thanks a lot for the insight! I took it to my local mechanic, and it turns out the seat heating mat was indeed the issue, just like you suspected. Ended up costing me around 390€ to get it replaced. Appreciate the help!
