Yaris Engine Won't Start

Engine control malfunction in my 2016 Toyota Yaris diesel, with only 27607 km. It won't start. Troubleshooting points to potential cable connection issues.

I had a similar issue with my Yaris diesel. Does the engine light come on? Could be fuel injection or even a simple engine surge. Check engine codes?

Yeah, engine light was on, and it wouldn't start. Thought it was fuel related at first, but it turned out to be something else. Best take it to a workshop.

It was a faulty battery cable connection. Repair cost 155€. Issue resolved.
