Yaris starting issue

My 2009 Toyota Yaris diesel is playing up. Sometimes it won't start, other times it cuts out while driving, and occasionally runs rough. Could it be the ignition switch? Checked fuses, all seem okay.

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my Yaris. Did you check the ignition switch itself? Is the key turn smooth, or does it feel gritty?

Yep, ignition switch. Given the symptoms, I'd suggest getting it checked professionally. Could save you a lot of hassle in the long run.

Turns out it was the ignition switch. Workshop replaced it, cost 52€. Thanks for the heads up!
