Zoe AC Undervoltage

I have a 2017 Renault Zoe, all electric, with around 239463 km. Recently, the air conditioning stopped working. It doesn't switch on or cool. The error memory shows an undervoltage issue. Could this cause the A/C compressor to shut off?

It's certainly plausible that undervoltage could cause the A/C compressor to stop. Have you checked the pressure sensor and refrigerant level? A leak could trigger such a fault. Also, has the AC relay been tested?

Thanks for the quick reply. I haven't checked the pressure sensor, refrigerant level, or AC relay. Where is the pressure sensor located, and is it easy to test the relay switch? I'm not a mechanic, but I can follow instructions.

Diagnosing undervoltage and A/C systems often requires specialized equipment. Given the potential complexity and the stored error, I strongly recommend consulting a qualified workshop. You could damage the A/C system further if you're inexperienced.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop as you suggested. There was undervoltage, and they found a faulty connection. Repair cost 240€, and now the A/C is working like new.
