Thanks. I recall charging the car before the issue, so that might be it. Could you describe the brake pedal symptoms you had?

Yeah, after charging, the pedal felt kinda stiff, like it wasn't springing back all the way. Almost like something was sticking. I'd get it checked. Probably just needs a little tweak or maybe the switch itself is wonky. Workshops always find stuff. But maybe start with the pedal and switch.

I took it to the shop. Apparently, the brake pedal wasn't returning completely due to some debris. Cleaning and adjusting the pedal position seems to have resolved it, and the error has been cleared. Repair cost was 0€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I suspect the likely cause was user error.

Whoa, brake lights out on a Zoe? I had something similar. Was it after you gave it a particularly enthusiastic charge? Seemed like my brake pedal was acting funny too, like it wasn't fully releasing the switch.
