Clock spring, huh? Interesting. I hadn't thought of that. Where exactly is that located, and is it something I can check myself without needing, like, a whole engineering degree? And which fuse should I be looking at specifically?

Yeah, the clock spring is behind the steering wheel. You'll need to remove the airbag to get to it, so maybe best leave that to a workshop unless you're really confident. As for the fuse, check the manual – there should be a diagram. But honestly, given the error code and symptoms, I'd bite the bullet and get it looked at professionally.

Thanks! I was hoping to avoid the shop, but sounds like the clock spring is a bit beyond my comfort zone. I took it to my local mechanic, and you were spot on! The error memory pointed to a defective connection. They found a loose plug. The bill came to 95€, which I think is reasonable. Thanks again!

I had a similar issue with my Zoe. Cruise control just packed it in. Did you check the clock spring? That's a common culprit. Also, have you ruled out a blown fuse? Sometimes it's the simplest things.
