Zoe Intermittent Electrical Errors

Thank you for your reply. I have not checked the 12V battery specifically, but I will do so. Regarding the error memory, is there a particular scan tool you would recommend for the Zoe, or is a generic OBD-II scanner sufficient?

A generic OBD-II scanner should give you a code, but it might not be super specific for the Zoe's systems. Honestly, with those kinds of electrical gremlins, it's often a connector or wiring harness issue, especially with the audio/nav cutting out. I'd hate for you to chase ghosts and spend money on parts you don't need. I think you should visit a local garage and let them take a look.

I appreciate the advice. Based on your recommendation and further research, it appears the most likely cause is a defective cable connection to the BUS system. I brought the vehicle to a local workshop for diagnosis and repair. A defective cable connection of the control unit (connection to the BUS system) was indeed the root cause. Repair cost: 155€. Thank you again for your help.

Sounds frustrating! I've seen similar gremlins in other electric vehicles. Have you tried checking the basics like the 12V battery health? A weak 12V can cause all sorts of weird issues with the electronics. Also, did you try to read out the error memory yourself?
