Argo Engine Start Problem
Summary of the thread
The Fiat Argo 2019 gasoline engine won't start, and the initial suspicion is faulty battery cable connections. Another Argo owner experienced a similar issue, which was due to corroded battery connections that damaged the terminal connectors. Cleaning the terminals resolved the problem, but a proper workshop diagnosis is recommended to rule out more complex issues like ECU problems. The issue was confirmed to be faulty battery cable connections, and the repair cost was 155€.

No flickering lights or noises. What 'more complex' issues did you have? Want to be prepared.

My battery connections were corroded, and the corrosion damaged the terminal connectors. Cleaning the terminals fixed it. Still, get a proper diagnosis at a workshop, ECU issues can be tricky.

Took it to a workshop as suggested. You were right, faulty battery cable connections. Repair cost 155€. Thanks!

I drive an Argo too. Had a similar issue. It was more complex than just battery cables. Any other symptoms, like engine light flickering or unusual noises?
