Arkana Windshield Washer Heater Failure

Hoping someone can help. I've got a 2023 Renault Arkana with a gasoline engine, and my windshield washer heater seems to have gone kaput. It's done 82732 km. The error memory is storing a fault, and the spray nozzles are freezing up solid when it gets cold. I've checked the washer motor (seems fine), and I had a quick look at the fuse box, but everything appears normal. Could it really be a faulty heater already?

I had nearly the same issue with my Arkana, sounds like a dodgy cable or plug connection to the heater element. It is annoying when you think you've got a top end car with all the bells and whistles and then something like this happens.

Thanks for the reply! Where exactly did you find the cable connection? Was it easy to get to, or did you have to take half the car apart?

Unfortunately, I couldn't locate the connection myself, and in the end, I had to bite the bullet and take it to the workshop. The diagnostic fault codes confirmed a heater malfunction. Turns out it was a corroded connection. They want 95€ for cable and plug replacement.

Thanks a lot for the info. Looks like I'll be heading to the workshop as well. At least now I have an idea of what to expect!
