Hey, thanks for sharing your experience! That's really helpful. I'm planning to get it checked this week. Sounds exactly like what I'm experiencing with my i5. Just curious, do you remember roughly how much the repair set you back? And has everything been running smoothly since the fix, or have you noticed any other quirks popping up?

Hey again! Great to hear back from you! Just wanted to update, after my last post, I actually got my iX3 looked at by a certified technician. The best news? The System readiness check issue got completely sorted out during the diagnostic check, and surprisingly, it didn't cost me anything! Turns out it was just a software problem that needed a quick reset during the OBD2 scan. Since the fix, my car's been running like a dream, no more speedometer glitches or error messages popping up. It's been about three weeks now, and everything's working exactly as it should. The diagnostic check really did the trick! Sorry I worried you earlier about potentially needing sensor replacements, sometimes these modern EVs just need a good system reset. But definitely still get yours checked out, just to be on the safe side. These high-tech cars can be tricky sometimes, but usually, the fix is simpler than we expect. Let me know how it goes with your i5!

Thanks for the update! Just got back from the mechanic today actually. You wouldn't believe it, my issue turned out to be pretty minor too! The technician found a loose connection in the wiring that was causing those annoying error messages. Just needed a quick fix and a system reset. The whole thing only took about an hour, and the cost was way less than I'd feared. The mechanic showed me exactly what was wrong, which made me feel a lot better about the whole situation. They even did a full system check to make sure everything else was running properly. Honestly, I feel a bit silly now for being so worried about it. The car's running perfectly, no more error messages or speedometer issues. Guess sometimes it's the simple things that can cause the biggest headaches! Really appreciate you sharing your experience. It definitely helped calm my nerves about taking it in. Time to enjoy my i5 without those pesky warning lights! Take care!

Hey there! I actually faced something similar with my 2021 BMW iX3 last month. The diagnostic readout showed system readiness errors tied to the vehicle's speed sensor module. My issue was causing intermittent speedometer failures and unusual error messages. In my case, it turned out to be a faulty wheel speed sensor connection that was interfering with the vehicle's electronic systems. The repair involved replacing the sensor unit and recalibrating the system. While it wasn't a catastrophic issue, it needed immediate attention to prevent any potential safety concerns. Based on your description, sounds quite similar to what I experienced. I'd suggest having a certified EV technician look at it, as these electrical issues need specific diagnostic tools and expertise. Make sure they check both the sensor and the wiring harness, as either could be the culprit. Would recommend getting it checked soon, these sensor issues can affect other vehicle systems if left unaddressed. Best of luck with the repair.
