Hey, thanks for your info, really helpful. Can you remember roughly how much the fun cost you? And have you noticed anything else since then, any subsequent problems perhaps? Thanks a lot!

Hey, sure, I remember that. The bill was actually okay. I paid €210 for the repair of the worn transmission oil in the transfer case. Since the mechanic was on it, the thing has been running like a charm again, believe me. I haven't had any more problems, so it was really worth it. Hope that helps you a bit! Best regards!

Hello, that actually sounds like a reasonable amount. Your experience has really reassured me! I had some kind of horror vision in my head that there would be a huge bill. I'm glad that your car is running like new again after the repair. I'm going to take my 307 to the garage tomorrow. Thanks again for taking the time to write to me. Best wishes and have a nice day!

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2010 Peugeot 308. The symptoms were pretty similar - jerky automatic, flashing indicator lights and howling noises. The problem was actually transmission fluid wear in the transfer case. My mechanic did a thorough check and determined that the oil in the transfer case needed to be replaced and the transmission itself cleaned. It was no small job, but afterwards my car was running like new again. It was definitely a serious matter and should not be neglected. So yeah, I'd say it's pretty urgent. I hope this helps you! Regards!
