Electronic failures and warning light in VW Touran 2006: experience and solutions wanted

Greetings, I currently have a problem with my VW Touran, built in 2006, gasoline engine. General electronic failures, sat nav is going crazy and there is also a warning light in the speedometer. I suspect that it could be due to faulty coding. Has anyone had similar experiences and could give me tips on how to solve the problem? I would be particularly interested to know how your garage solved the problem. Thanks in advance!

It just happened to mine the same. How did you fixed it?

Hi Claudio, could you please provide more details about the issue you're experiencing? What is the exact problem? What is your car's make and model? Any specific error codes? The more information you can provide, the better I can assist you.

The B200500 error code generally refers to a control module issue. However, as it's a manufacturer-specific code, its interpretation can vary. I would recommend starting with a full system reset by disconnecting your car's battery for about 30 minutes, then reconnecting it. If the fault codes persist, it would be best to consult with a professional mechanic or an Audi dealership for a precise diagnosis. Please remember to provide them with all the fault codes and any symptoms you've noticed. Let us know how it goes.

If the fault codes keep reappearing after you clear them, it's likely that the underlying issue causing these faults hasn't been resolved. I would recommend having your car inspected by a professional mechanic. They can perform a thorough diagnostic check to identify the root cause of the problem. Please provide them with all the fault codes and any symptoms you've noticed. Let us know how it goes.
