Hey, thanks for your answer! That sounds really straightforward. Can you remember how much you had to pay for the repair? And were there any other problems afterwards, or has everything been running smoothly since then? Many thanks in advance!

Hi, sure, no problem! So, the repair of the automatic gearbox converter cost me €2120. Not exactly cheap, but everything has been tip-top ever since. And as you rightly suspected, the problem with the malfunction of the torque converter lock-up clutch was also fixed. Since the visit to the mechanic, everything has been running like clockwork again! So, don't get too stressed. Just make sure you have a good mechanic on hand. Good luck with that!

Super! That definitely helps me. The price is a little higher than expected, but if it solves the problem, I'm happy. I'm glad to hear that everything is going well for you again. I hope I'm just as lucky. I'll make an appointment with my mechanic soon. Thanks again!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2010 Peugeot 5008 diesel. It was quite a serious problem for me as the car just wouldn't shift properly and had similar symptoms. It turned out that the automatic transmission converter was faulty. My experience at the garage was pretty straightforward. The guys identified the fault pretty quickly. They simply had to remove the automatic transmission converter and fit a new one. After that, the car ran like clockwork again. It was definitely not something I could have fixed myself. So, I would recommend you take it to a reliable garage quickly. It definitely needs a professional hand. Good luck with it!
